The Bakery was established in 1959 and has been passed along in the family for three generations. This popular bakery in Gravenhurst has developed into one of the most well known and loved bakeries in Muskoka.

For the Muskoka Maple Trail, you have to try their maple pecan apple strudel, a homemade pastry with an apple and maple pecan filling, topped with their famous puff pastry and coated in maple frosting. You can also pick up their delicious maple pecan square which starts with their famous butter cookie recipe base, a gooey maple pecan filling and topped with milk chocolate drizzle. Throughout the Muskoka Maple Trail, they will be using local maple syrup from Sugarbush Hill Maple farm for the decadent dessert feature; warm maple apple cake on a bed of apple cider sabayon sauce, raspberry rosemary preserves, with house made Muskoka maple rosemary scented ice cream. Stop by for lunch or dinner and finish with this sweet treat, or just stop in for a sweet caffeine pick me up with one of their two maple hot beverages served by their Country Market barista; Maple Dolce or a Maple Chai Latte.

The resort will also be offering a signature experience starting March 20. Plan your visit on a Saturday, and you can also take part in their free 1-hour maple syrup information sessions from 12 – 1 pm (again, open to the public), a fun and informative learning experience about how syrup is made, and an opportunity to sample several different grades of maple syrup.
